The University of Leeds operates hundreds, if not thousands of processes. These processes span across academia, research and services. The range of business and process analysis tools and methodologies which you could employ to help you understand, evaluate or design a process is equally vast!

With this guide, we’ve carefully selected some of the more recognisable and accessible tools to help you to illustrate your processes, whether that be for a specific project, or just to help the day-to-day operation of your area.

As with Delivering Results we’ve taken the approach of combining our knowledge and experience to come up with what we believe is a useful toolkit and an easy to use framework for Documenting and Designing processes. This guide is available online as well as in booklet format.

Webinar - Process: The Key to Consistency

Humans are creatures of habit, and processes surround us from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep. Understanding how and why we do something can be very beneficial. In this session, Business Process Analysis Team Manager, Matthew Forward, will talk about the importance of understanding what we do and why we do it. He’ll help you to get to grips with the basics of process modelling and interpreting information to help you to deliver consistently, whatever you are trying to achieve.
