University Networks

There are several University networks operating in the change space, including Delivering Results, Continuous Improvement and Service Excellence. These networks are open to all who are interested or involved in change, bringing together like-minded individuals to provide peer support, guidance, and a creative collaborative learning environment.

APM LogoAssociation of Project Management (APM)

APM is the only chartered body for the project profession, committed to developing and promoting the value of project management in order to deliver improved project outcomes for the benefit of society. There are a number of ways in which you can benefit from what we do, including membership, qualifications, chartered status, publications and events. The University of Leeds benefits from Corporate Affiliate memebership.


CMI LogoChange Management Institute

The Change Management Institute is a global, independent, not for profit association of change professionals. It was created by and is operated by members for members, constantly striving to push the boundaries of the change management profession. Our membership is diverse, appealing to anyone who has a passion for or an interest in change: those at the top of their game and those starting out. Members are provided access to best practice inspiring and speaker events, professional development workshops and networking sessions for its members. IIBA LogoInternational Institute of Business Analysis

The IIBA® is a non-profit professional association serving the growing field of business analysis. As the global thought leader and voice of the business analysis community, IIBA has championed global standards for business analysis professionals through competency-based certifications, curated content, and building communities.


Lean in Higher Education (Lean HE) aims to ensure that continuous improvement philosophies and practitioners within Higher Education (HE) are themselves always improving. The global Lean HE organisation does this by networking, sharing best practice and supporting the delivery of a conference series. Our collective work is intended to be:
  • Practice based and action focused; informed by leading thought to support applied learning and the implementation of continuous improvement in HE.
  • Aimed at staff working within HE who are leading, implementing or considering continuous improvement.

The Major Projects Association is a community of practice for organisations engaged in the initiation and delivery of major projects, programmes and portfolios. ​The Association is home to those organisations and individuals that share a common purpose: the desire to hone their skills; to improve best practice; and to investigate innovative solutions for the many problems encountered during major projects, programmes and portfolios.


UCISA logoUniversity, Colleges and Information Systems Association (UCISA)

UCISA is the member-led professional body for digital practitioners in education. Open and inclusive, we work together to use our collective technical knowledge and digital expertise to help transform teaching, learning and research by supporting operational efficiency and an excellent student experience. Our community collaborates, networks, and shares their inspirational thinking, practices and procedures so that we can all learn more, advance faster and be more effective.


Yorkshire Benefits Management Network

The Yorkshire Benefits Management Network exists to provide opportunities to meet, network and share good practice between people who have an interest in managing benefits from business change. Meetings are held quarterly in or around Leeds, or online, along with a virtual 'Common Room'. The Leeds Institute of Health Sciences (LIHS) and Keldale Business Services Ltd sponsor the Network. It is managed by Ruth Evans at LIHS (R.P.Evans@leeds.ac.uk) and David Waller of Keldale (david.waller@keldale.com). Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the topic and it is free to join.
