Sustainability

The University recognises the clear responsibility it has to make a positive impact on society. The University strategy places the economic, social, environmental and cultural responsibilities as a priority to be fully integrated with the approach to student education, research and innovation, international, digital transformation and professional services.

When leading an initiative it is important to consider how it will contribute to these sustainability commitments as a key theme throughout the lifecycle. For more information about sustainability at the University, please visit the Sustainability website, where you can download the strategy and find contact information for the team.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

The University has aligned its approach and commitments to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, demonstrating how we can all play our part in a global solution. The 17 goals call to promote prosperity while protecting the planet, a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address global challenges, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice.
