Continuous Improvement
What does 'great' look like?
A university where services are delivered as efficiently as possible? An environment where everyone is empowered to make changes to the way they work? A culture in which teams collaborate across boundaries to bring about improvements? This is what continuous improvement is all about.
It’s a university-wide project designed to create an organisation and a culture in which improvement is habitual. While it brings measurable improvements in performance and delivery, it also gives us the understanding we need to make better decisions and adapt to future ways of working.
It involves learning, tools and techniques, but continuous improvement is more than just a training programme.
It’s a different way of thinking about how we work together – which ultimately promises to deliver better experiences for staff and stakeholders across the University. Here’s where we begin.
